Radeon RX Vega Revealed has AMD done it again

Radeon RX Vega has been rolled out and is looking to knock Nvidia from the top spot.  With its launch of the Ryzen processor can AMD deliver another knockout blow to another top rival.  After a long wait the US release date of 14th August has come and gone and the benchmarks are in.

Although on paper it does seem as though AMD might be able to compete with Nvidia’s heavy weight.  The benchmarks are suggesting a different story and potentially with these reference cards and drivers they are more likely to be competing with the GTX1070.Radeon RX Vega

There are 3 different reference cards being released on launch a RX Vega 64 air cooled as well as a liquid cooled.  The other card being the RX Vega 56 which has no liquid cooling version.

Although there is no UK price release yet the US prices range from $399 to $699.  When comparing UK to USA prices could match the US price range of £399 to £699.

In a bid to stop coin miners from buying up the cards they are offering them in bindles.  Which entitles you to discount on the 34in Samsung CF791 curved ultrawide FreeSync monitor and on select Ryzen 7 1800X processor and 370X motherboard.  The caveat being you have to buy them at the time you purchase the graphics card.  The bundles also include the games Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and Prey.
